Trepidatious Dirge
Another new score has been added to the website - Trepidatious Dirge was originally written as ballet music for a one-act opera I wrote whilst at university. It is a setting of the anonymous 17th century (?) Lyke Wake Dirge for Chorus and Orchestra. Unfortunately the opera has never been performed, and as the years go by it seems less and less likely that it ever will be - hence the salvaging of this fragment, which is by far the best bit! Please give it a listen, and if anyone has the inclination / ability to get it performed, please let me know - this is one of the few pieces I have written which I would LOVE to hear performed more than you can ever know!

Five Poems of Walt Whitman
Five Poems of Walt Whitman is for unaccompanied SSAATTBB Choir and uses rather rich harmony to give a choir a satisfying challenge, and an audience a taste of contemporary music while not alienating them completely (in theory!) Give it a listen, and let me know what you think!
